EL DIA DEL LIBRO/ BOOK DAY

We celebrated EL DIA DEL LIBRO and learnt about Cervantes' famous DON QUIJOTE.

The library was open at lunch time to enjoy the pleasures of reading!

SPANISH WRITING COMPETITION

Congratulations to Anshika Handa and Jamil Haddad for winning a prize in the Spanish Writing Competition. 16 different schools across Melbourne participated with more than 300 entries.

Anshika attended the Awards Ceremony with her family last Saturday. We had a great time!

BOLLO DE LA ABUELA

This week in the Spanish class we have cooked BOLLO DE LA ABUELA.
We have had lots of fun cooking and we loved the cake. 

Esta semana hemos cocinado BOLLO DE LA ABUELA. 

Nos lo hemos pasado muy bien cocinando y nos ha encantado el bollo.

 Estaba delicioso!

SPANISH FUN DAY AT AITKEN CREEK P.S

On Wednesday 2nd September Grades 5 and 6 students from Bethal visited Aitken Creek P.S. for a Spanish Day. Students have Skyped in the past as a way of introducing themselves. On the Spanish Day they had the opportunity to practice the language through various games and craft activities. The day culminated with some CHURROS Y CHOCOLATE. 

El pasado dos de septiembre visitamos Aitken Creek Primary School. Tuvimos la oportunidad de conocer a estudiantes que aprenden español como nosotros. Lo pasamos muy bien en los diferentes talleres de juegos y manualidades. El dia termino con unos deliciosos CHURROS CON CHOCOLATE.
