On the last Monday of term 3, Carlos Franco, the president of the Association
for Spanish Teachers in Victoria, came to visit our school. He talked about the
importance of learning a second language. Children in grades 1 and 2 presented
the work they have been creating in their Spanish/Art classes and sang lots of
songs in Spanish. They played different games and the day ended with two
piñatas that were filled with great prizes.
